David is a founding Director of Simpson Hilder Associates and has a wealth of experience in the commercial, medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
As Director of Architecture within the practice, David leads on concept design, project strategy and programme delivery for all projects. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
David also sits on a number of committees and boards providing stewardship, governance and advice and enjoys the challenges this often brings.
A keen sailor, David is an RYA Principal and Chief Instructor at two sailing clubs in Lymington. David also enjoys mountain biking, where he regularly tests the laws of gravity and the adhesion of tyres, together with a passion for skiing – although he is now glad to have the occasional coffee break in a mountainside café with his wife Hilary whilst reminiscing of the days of being able to keep up with his two sons.
