SHA were initially involved with producing master planning proposals for the redevelopment of a former engineering works across 35 acres on the outskirts of Lymington. Outline planning approval was gained, principally for B1, B2 and B8 use classes but also including a public house/hotel, petrol filling station and key worker housing.
Subsequently, detailed planning permission was achieved for the refurbishment, subdivision and remodelling of 170,000 sq ft of existing commercial floor space.
Consent was also gained for new-build units across a 6 acre area, with SHA designing speculative industrial units as well as acting for several occupiers.
