At Salisbury Crematorium we provided architectural services in connection with £2.2m of refurbishment and extension work required to accommodate mercury abatement equipment, and to enhance the visitor facilities. The 1960’s building was listed following the original granting of planning permission, and we subsequently secured the necessary listed building approvals following detailed discussions with the Local Planning Authority’s conservation department and English Heritage.
We obtained planning permission for Bournemouth Crematorium and undertook detailed design to provide a new plantroom for housing mercury abatement equipment in response to an EU directive on emissions.
We have undertaken feasibility proposals for Yeovil and Plymouth Councils in connection with their crematoria.
