Chartered Building Surveyor
Tom is a Chartered Building Surveyor who first arrived at SHA in the summer of 2011, spending a year working with the surveying team as part of a work placement whilst at the University of the West of England. After winning the Professional Development Prize for his main project at university he graduated with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) degree and has become an important permanent part of the practice team.
His roles include drafting contracts, contract administration, project management, refurbishment, dilapidations, party wall awards and structural surveys in the always busy surveying department.
When not at work Tom enjoys nothing more than messing about in boats, both on and off the race course. He is a former Commodore of Salterns Sailing Club, past member of the Wessex Youth Orchestra and has achieved the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
