The site, previously occupied by a tool hire business, presented a challenge given its irregular shape, sensitive surroundings and high profile. After lengthy negotiations with the local authority and detailed discussions with the council’s design forum, a high quality scheme consisting of 6 three storey townhouses and 3 two storey properties was by a planning committee.
